This quaint little downtown pizza parlor is a unique treasure. It won't blow your hair back or make you swear off other pizza places, but it's good for the price. The pizza by the slice isn't the best thing you could order here, so don't stop in for that alone. The knots ARE quite tasty, but I've found the Three Cheese Calzone to be one of the best items on the menu you could order. It's deliciously cheesy (it'd better be with all that cheese), and sinfully greasy. This calzone is so flavorful that I rarely use the marinara dipping sauce that accompanies it. If you're visiting downtown, working downtown, or serving as a juror, you owe it to yourself to at least try this place once. Now remember, we're in San Antonio, so (despite the parlor's name), if you're one of those New York know-it-all's who thinks you know everything about pizza, don't go into this place only to knock how bad it is in comparison to NY. That's like expecting knock-out barbecue in Wisconsin. Just like NY can't make a margarita, don't expect genuine NY-style pizza in SA. Most importantly, don't be an idiot. You're better off just going outside and shoving your head directly up your ass and saving everyone else a lot of trouble.
