In two words.... Don't bother!
The food is terrible and when I complained, I received a patronizing response. I am convinced that they don't care.
It's a large, cold, clammy, bus station-like place and the owner has a very gruff demeanor. I wouldn't e surprised to find it closed should I ever pass through Thomaston again.
It's a cryin shame. That town needs something and Billys' didn't ring the bell.
My friend and I stopped in for dinner and were very dissappointed with our service and dinner. We arrived at 5:30 and did not get served our meal till 6:30 and the restaurant was not even busy. The people that walked in after us received their meals before us. I asked for a well done burger and it was medium. They took it back and I waited another 12 minutes for it to come back from the kitchen. Now its like 6:45 and Im just starting my dinner. My friend got the steak and asked for medium and received rare. It was so rubbery that she could not even cut it with a knife. She sent it back also. The waitress did not offer to take anything off the menu or office a complimentary dessert. The appetizer of onion rings was undercooked. The onions were raw! We payed our $40.00 bill and left very unhappy. If things diddn't not get any worse, as soon as we walked out the door to exit the restaurant there was a women who worked in the kitchen smoking a cigarette right there outside the door so we got to inhale that. We will never go there again.
