I was there for a 5th Friday event. There was a nice
crowd and the music was excellent. Something for everyone.
I'm a line dancer and I got my dance on! The chicken nachos were good and there was good networking.
I will be there this Friday!
I just left this place 12-18-08 about 45 mins ago and I couldn't wait to get home to right this review. The food was horrible!! Me and my husband were both very grossed out by this food. Thank Goodness for two master baths cause we both felt sick when we got home. I got the Land and Sea dish and not one thing on the plate was good. The mac and cheese was so dry it and it tasted sour like it was bad! The greens tastes like they were out of a can and was so over cooked and mushy that we couldn't even eat them. My steak had no flavor and tasted like something from Denny's or some cheap diner and the grilled shrip was a reck no tast at all and I had the better meal. My husband (still sick in the bathroom) had the sea food combo..this was a over fried mess. The catfish tasted bad..it had the worst taste I ever tasted..I can't even explain the taste..it was horrific..and the crab cake was all batter..I did not taste any crab, however I did taste a few shells or something gross. we rapped the food to go but threw it in the dumpster cause we knew we would not eat this crap. Like I said the food tasted like it was spoiled or something..really bad taste..what a waste of money..I'm going to kill my niece for recommending this place. I'm just glad we tested it out before suggesting this place for our holiday dinner party. Wick Wick Whack!!! and my stomach is Jacked!! also the service was slow and we were the only people in the dinning area.
A very warm, inviting atmosphere is to be found at the Platinum Grille in Chestnut Hill's Market Square. The style is casual but upscale; the ambience is conversational and open; the waitress who assisted us was friendly, attentive and sincere. Service was quick. The food was excellent (diced chicken nachos and asian teriyaki chicken), although the collard greens were a little saltier than I prefer (but that's just me). The bar area is removed from the dining area, creating two different spaces for your choice of moods (a bunch of buds hangin' out or something of a more intimate focus). Bathrooms were clean and maintained (woman's and...unisex!)
I'll be going back...you should, too.
