My wife and I were lucky enough to find the Deer Park Café on our trip from Nashville to Maine this summer. The food was good, the prices were reasonable, the restaurant was clean and organized and the all three of the staff that waited on us were quite friendly and helpful. The Deer Park Café is a pleasant little place that we will find again on our travels – perhaps they will even have cornbread next time! Highly recommended.
Held a surprise birthday party for my wife at the Deer Park Cafe. We had 59 people attend. Pam, Jimmy and staff were wonderful. The food was great, they served our every need. I highly recommend the Deer Park Cafe for your parties, bridal and baby showers. There semi private room was great. They made me feel like part of the family!
I have been to the Deer Park Cafe several times over the past few months. food has been great. soups are delicious. Have had both breakfast and lunch on different days and was pleased each time. While it is a diner type minor, with diner type prices, it looks nothing like a diner. Highly recommend. They also have a semi-private room that is great for baby and wedding showers, birthday parties, meetings.
I went to the Deer Park Cafe for lunch today and didnt find anything wrong with it. I dont know where you went to but it was definatly not the same place you talked about. Everything was wonderful and they had many pictures on the walls and the flowers on the tables were very real looking. I have been to other places around port jervis and they all seem to have fake plants which does not matter anyways. The waitresses were very nice and the place was very family friendly. The prices were very affordable and the quality of the food beat any other place i have been to. It was all homemade and they had 3 soups of the day not just one my husband had beef barley my son had chicken noodle and i had new england clam chowder they were very delicious and it was a very clean place to go. I would highly recommend it for anybody it was clean delicious and the prices were great. They make you feel like family and my husband said his beef goulash was the best he had ever eaten in his life. As for the menu it was very organized and my daughter which was 9 years old had no problem finding everything she looked for. I think you have a personal problem against the cafe and i do not think it is nice to trash talk a very wonderful place. Everybody that reads this review please go to the Deer Park Cafe located off of Route 6 and see for yourself how excellent the food the prices and the service are.
