Zapopan Mexican Food, Desert Hot Springs

Great food, friendly staff, lots of local repeat customers...will go there again. The lady taking the orders was friendly, and fast. She likes to talk to the customers. New owner was there, working at counter. He was in process of ordering some neon beer signs to one of his interior walls.I ordered a Beef Tongue combo..this is not a common dish..it had generous portions, price was right, and delicious. They have real Mexican food. I could see mostly local people who are the repeat business customers, they know a good thing when they see it. It is next to the Starbucks in the strip mall with the K-Mart. Next time I pass by Desert Hot Springs, this the place where I will eat.

This place sucks! I went in there for a big burrito and all I got was a taco size burrito for $5 bucks! No way not worth it! Your better off going to Del Taco across the street. Management has a terrible attitude. To pricey for simple Mexican food. My advice go somewhere else for the cost.

i havent live in dhs for 20 year but i have try all the mexican restaurants there is no need to look no more ZAPOPAN is the place to go.

Best authentic mexican food! We been going to this restaurant since day one and not regret any of our visits. Chile relleno burrito mojado its the best! Jorge(the owner) and all the employees are always so cordial ....

great mexican food and price

I have lived in Desest Hot Springs for 20 years and I have been to every Mexican restaurant from the tiny taco shacks to the fancy dinner houses in the valley. With out a doubt the food at Zapopan is the best I have tasted and the most reasonably priced. Nothing fancy except the food. You will not be dissapointed. Excellent Chile Rellenoes and Carne Asada!

It is the best Mexican food I have ever tasted and the service was great!!!
