Ravioli's Italian Bistro, Lake Elsinore

If I could give Raviolis 5+ stars I would. I grew up in Brooklyn Ny, and Long Island and have had some Italian which I would drive 2 hours to eat again hands down, and this has to be the best I have tasted in California by far. Walking in Raviolis it is a small, well decorated place with a very cozy feel to it. As the sun sets the lights dim adding more to the feel of the place. The wait staff is right on, knowing about every dish we asked about very prompt with orders, drinks and service of the food. The food does not sit by a heat lamp and is brought steaming hot from the kitchen. The food is amazing. I have tried 3 dishes from Raviolis and each one I was craving more. The portions are perfect and the sauces you can taste are home made. I look at Raviolis as not having an equal in the area. I have been three times and plan on going back many times more. It is the closest thing that I have had from NYC Italian anywhere in California.

I just had the worst experience at Raviolis in Lake Elsinore. I made online reservations, which apparently the restaurant did not receive. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told that we did not actually have a reservation, even though I received a confirmation number from their website when I made the reservation. We were then told we could either sit at the bar, or wait an hour for a table. When we pointed out to the owner that we had actually made reservations and it really wasn't our fault that something had gone wrong with the system, we were basically told that it was indeed our fault, because we probably don't know how to use a computer. My husband and I are college educated and very proficient on computers. The attitude of the owner was very accusatory and honestly just quite shocking. We left without even eating. I have never been treated so rudely before in my life. I would not go back to this establishment if it were the last restaurant on earth

My honey and I had dinner at your place...(more than once) and not only are we in love with eachother but we fell in love with your food, staff and atmosphere;) I grabbed a few of your cards and passed it around to my family and friends and told them its soooooooooo worth the drive!!!

Great food!! The closest thing to Italy that you will find outside of NY.

Simply stated: It is the best Italian around! Head and shoulders above any other!!! My wife and I have been regularly frequenting this growing establishment since they opened, and I can say without a doubt- Dining at Raviolis is a wonderful experience! Whether its just the two of you for an intimate diner, or even a larger party, you are made to feel just as welcomed and important! Try the lasagna! If you liked it before, it will become your all time favorite!!!

My husband and I had lunch here on 10/8/10. We were blown away by the food. We both agreed that it was the best Italian meal we have had since our trip to Italy. In fact, it trumped most of our Italian meals with the exception of one particular restaurant in Siena. An added bonus was that we couldn't even think of eating for most of the rest of the day. We also loved the decor and the music. Unfortunately it is too far from home to explore the wine selections, so we stuck to club soda and iced tea. Even the iced tea was exceptional, which seemed to have a hint of mango or something in it.
