Sushi Harbor, Ketchikan

The food is wonderful and even beautiful. Sushi is their main deal but they have a good selection of other Asian food like noodle soups and some "bento" combination meals including chicken or pork. Their miso soup is nice and hearty (comes with most meals). Tangy kimchi. My discovery: This place is also cool for just a snack (either in a hurry, or to nibble on and drink tea and you read the paper etc)-- a bowl of white rice (with seasoning they'll throw on) plus some miso soup costs basically pocket change, and beats getting a bready blob from the scuffed-up-looking Subway 'round the corner. I've also gone there with just a friend or two, for dinner-- and I've also gone with a whole bunch of people at once who're celebrating something and want a big buffet of all kinds of crazy stuff. And: fresh fresh fresh.

Sushi Harbor is a delightful little sushi restaurant. I loved it. Not too expensive and SO FRESH. Delicious! I will be back when I'm in Ketchikan again.
