Hokaido Sushi, Las Vegas

Sushi quality is on par with most sushi restaurants. But the service here is terrible. Some people in our party had their entrees came out before appetizers, my simple order of sushi/sashimi combo came out just when everybody else was finishing their meals, I denied it and told them to cancel the order. No semblence of order to the dining experience at all. Been going there about once a month for about 2 years and service has steadily declined. Won t be going back.

The BEST sushi in town with the absolute best service ! Won't go anywhere else and will happily pay any price for their rolls !

i love it there! the sushi is great!! i live in cali and everytime i visit my bf in vegas, we eat there everytime! the chefs are awesome, the service is great. my favorite sushi roll is paradise. sitting here in cali talking about it wants me to drive to vegas right now just to pick some up!! if you love sushi, you'll love this place!

This place is really amazing.delicious food, Warm service,best sushi chef,nice presentation, Fresh fish.everything is perfect.especially I like Fresh oyster and sweetheart special roll here. Go! Get'em. You must love Hokaido.

By far the worst sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The food was semi-good but the customer service was absolutly horrid. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend Kona Grill in Boca Park and Sushi Fever on sahara and cimmaron.

I love this place! I drive over 20 miles to get to this place. The sushi is amazing. The portions are generous and the service is unbeatable. I moved here from San Jose CA and have been very disappointed in the sushi I have tried in Vegas. This place makes up for all of it. The XXX roll is my favorite. It's no longer listed on the menu but they still make it if you ask. The garlic ponzu sauce is to die for!

LOVE IT!!!! Service is great, the waitress'es always go an extra mile for our 2 yr old tot. MEXICAN ROLL OMG!!! Great Fried Rice also. Anything with the Garlic sauce is great!!!!! Their rolls are not dry nor small like a lot of other places my husband & I go to. LOVE IT!!!

You have got to try this place. Clean, fun and some of the best sushi you will ever have with portion sizes that can't be matched! Sam and Eric are the primary sushi chefs and make a great pair. The menu here is huge and the rolls all have names that will make you laugh. The service is good and they are very sweet. My wife and I live clear on the other side of town but consider the drive well worth it. We are very picky about freshness and feel safer here than the other 20 places we used to go to. Do yourself a favor, try this place when you are really hungry!
