I really enjoyed myself at Oriole 9 last weekend. The service was friendly and prompt, the prices reasonable and the food was great. They try to go organic as much as possible and use produce from local farms as well as their own organic garden - Project Roots. Very impressive for a non chain restraurant. Then menu had items to please everyone in my family including my somewhat tempermental vegan teenage daughter. It doesn't get much better than that.
I agree with JR. I am not sure where ellie found the broad menu. I found it was lacking veriety and was a bit pricey for so little. Service was friendly although I felt cheated in the end. A wonderful place to visit if you are not expecting to eat very much.
Highest quality in Woodstock, very creative and broad menu to choose from. They also serve the best coffee in town!!
Always good and exceptionally friendly service they really have figured it out at Oriole 9.
My home away from home.
We normally go to Oriole 9 for lunch which is superb by the way. Last week we tried dinner and again it was a great experience. The food, service and ambiance at night makes oriole 9 a different place. I would say that Oriole 9 is overall one of the best places to go for dinner, breakfast or lunch in the hudson valley.
Where do i start, Oriole 9 restaurant has inspired me to try and understand just how ignorant people are.
Get a fancy location a expensive menu and wallah, the ignorant come out in hoards to
spend money just to say they ate at an expensive restaurant in Woodstock and pretend they enjoyed it.
Well for the smart minded and those not blinded by that cozy feeling of trying to feel special, this review
is for you. It has been a long time since I can remember being this offended by a restaurant.
I'm am a firm believer in if you want to charge me $25 for a steak then give me a $25 steak,
at least throw in a bus boy to help the one overloaded waitress, I was even given a glass of water with no ice,
and commented “is the ice extra?” as I felt more and more insulted by the lack of selection on the menu
and the small list of specials. And wow only $10 for a glass of wine? Once again maybe in a place where
I felt I was getting my moneys worth. There are plenty of worthy restaurants in the Hudson Valley most of
which go out of their way to serve you and give you a great meal with extras (meaning uh um a salad and or something on the table besides a warm glass of tap water).and good service at that once again not the waitress fault. You may pay the same prices but leave feeling like you got you moneys worth and not ripped off. I figured out why there are couches by the door because after you’ve eaten at Oriole 9 you’ll need to lay down. BTW I took my dry tastless steak home with me and fed it to my dog and i'm not sure he enjoyed it either.
