Stopped by for the first time Friday. Did have to wait a bit for service but we were not in a hurry. We sat outside on the porch where a couple of guys were strummin guitars although a bit loud they sounded good. Had the stuffed deep fried jalapenos appetizer and it was fabulous. Whole jalepenos stuffed with cream and cheddar cheese coated and deep fried and no heavy oil taste. Hubby had a chicken fried steak which he gave 4 1/2 stars (his mom's gets 5) and I got the blackened fish salad which also gets 4 1/2 stars. Portions are more then generous and we will be going back.
The food is very yummy, basically melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is great, everyone is friendly. If someone is looking for good home cooking, this is where I would send them to.

WE EAT THERE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK. THE FOOD AND SERVICE MOST EXCELLENT OFFERING A WIDE RANG OF FOODS TO CHOOSE FROM. THE MANAGEMENT AND WAITING STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY EVEN TO THE POINT OF HELPING ME TO MY SEAT (I'M HANDICAPPED). AND BECAUSE OF MY HANDICAP, THEY EVEN DELIVERED FOOD TO MY CAR OUT FRONT. (I PREARRANGE THIS AND CALLED THEM ON MY CELL PHONE FROM THE PARKING LOT.)
ONE OF MY FAVORITES IS THE SOUTHWEST EGG ROLLS, BUT I PREFER MUSTARD TO THE DIP THEY OFFER!
WE WILL RETURN MANY TIMES, I AM SURE!
