Best pizza around. Salads and sandwiches very fresh. I like the turkey club wrap, my daughter loves the Italian subs. Chicken tenders, especially Sweet Georgia, are delicious, as are the waffle fries and bread sticks. There's something for everyone on the menu!
ive been ordering from hungry herbs for the last 2 nd a half years. By far one of the best pizzas ive ever had. Crust has a great crunch and overall taste, cheese and sauce are always in a great proportion and have a great amount of flavor! i agree with the review below me, not sure what the woman is talking about. Ive tried louisiana hot sauces that are milder then herbs's hot sauce. Along with the pizza, they have a wide variety of food on the menu, burgers, waffle fries, subs and wraps and are more then willing to accommodate special orders, definitely a 5 star review from me.
I Order from Hungry Herbs all the time and the food is awesome!! I know that some detractors on here have compared them to past businesses in the same location and in different states. I really don't think that is fair. I talked to the owner of the place Mike and he said he bought the place with that name and had no Idea there was another Hungry Herbs long ago in Massachusetts. He just thought it was a cool name and stayed with it. He did change the logo from a fat guy to a skinny guy because Herbs has a lot of healthy options on top of the tasty ones...Wings, Waffle Fries, Tenders, and juicy burgers. And that lady who says the Hot sauce isn't Hot must not have any taste buds left. I know my eyes water when I get it and my mouth is burnung for hours. The wings and tenders are by far the best around...Fresh and Deep fried..
Today I ordered 30 Hot Wings and told them to make them as spicy as they could and the girl on the phone said no problem, that she could barely breath in the smell of the hot sauce they use. So when my husband brought them I couldn't wait to get to work gnawing on them. What a bitter disappointment. Not only were they not hot, but they were not spicy in the least. Barely any sauce on them. It certainly does make me long for the old days of Chicken Hutch!! They knew what spicy was!!!
Hungry Herbs was an infamous sandwhich shop located in Medford, MA from 1989-2004. It closed and since then there have been several weak imitators. Hungry Herbs Pizza is one of these imitators. Not only have they stolen the name verbatim but they have also used the same names that the original Hungry Herbs used for their sandwhiches; (meatman, sweet georgia etc.) I know the orignal Herb family and they made the resturaunt name Hungry Herbs and the sandwhich names on their own. If there are any questions concerning the truth of this matter we would be happy to answer them. Imitation is flattering but blatant theft is something far different.
Place is ok. Definitely MUCH smaller portions than the Hungry Herbs that used to be in Medford used to give out. Little overpriced too. I think the price they charged me was higher than what they had listed on their website, hungryherbspizza.com
I ordered a steaktip sub with the Sweet Georgia Blues sauce. Was VERY tasty, but like I said, the portions and price leave a lot to be desired.
