My husband and I went there today, took us 15 minutes to get our drinks and she never even took our order...but she took the order from a group of 4 that came in 10 minutes after us, while we were still waiting for our drinks. After 30 minutes of sitting there with no attention from anyone that worked there, we got up and left and will NEVER go back. Their prices are high enough, thought maybe someone would wait on us. Apparently they only have one waitress on duty because she was working the bar and the dinning room area. Unless you are a party of 10 or more (so she will get a bigger tip) don t expect service. I didn t even want to give 1 star but the lemon aid did taste good once I got it.
Happy Anniversary Dinner! We heard about the Dockside from a friend in Green Bay and headed to Oconto and what a pleasant and wonderful surprise. Amy, (family of the owners) was just a delight and made great dinner suggestions and made us feel VERY welcome. We tried the Sat. special Prime Rib and the Seafood Quesadillas. BOTH were excellent, huge portions and priced very reasonably. The Prime Rib was slow roasted to perfection and was served with soup and salad bar-- both fresh, and generous including fresh fruit, and veggies along with choice of potato, veggies or rice (try the twice baked for a special treat.) The Seafood Quesadilla was packed with flavor, very generous portions of seafood (nummy!) served in a delicate, but savory sauce. Topped off the evening with a slice of Grandma s recipie carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and walnuts. WELL worth the 30 min drive from Howard and a place we will retun to many times. Check out seafood specials on Friday, Prime Rib on Saturday and home made GERMAN dishes served on Wednesdays.
