This is a little gem hidden in a small plaza off Route 9 on 9R (aka Columbia Ext).
The pizza is good, crispy and flavorful. They have a special of 2 slices and a free soda for $4. Sometimes they forget the soda, they should try harder not to!, so remind them if they do.
A 6 cut cheese pie is $9.99 but I liked the slices more. Pie was a little overcooked. I think they should do a pick-up special on a 6-cut cheese of $7.99 (a small pickup is a little expensive).
The wings were pretty good BUT THEY FORGOT THE CELERY. GUYS ANOTHER ITEM YOU FORGOT. Their subs are very good. Wish they sold a small size for $4.
Their penne vodka chicken pasta was great except the chicken was a little on the cheap quality but still good sauce. The vodka sauce was unique, more creamy like an alfredo with a touch of red sauce to it. Pasta came with a nice salad and bread. Glad the dressing wasn't the cheap packets. Also had a Greek salad but I think they served it with Italian dressing. GUYS PLEASE SERVE IT WITH A GREEK DRESSING. Greek and Italian are similar but no cigar! Chicken tenders with honey mustard were also good. They have canoli and cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was good would be nice if it came with a strawberry sauce option, not sure there is one. They put all my pasta and chicken tender meal in small boxes and put them in a large pizza box, GUYS please get some plastic bags. These large pizza boxes are excessive and hard to dispose of. ALSO GUYS, you forgot to put the penne vodka chicken on the Mealeo online menu.
They do have a website but YL doesn't let me list it. Google newyorkstylepizzalatham and look for the coupons. Its also free delivery. I think they're open 10am - 11pm. Nice guys who work there and do a good job, except for forgetting some things time to time. Guys please work harder to remember even the little things! Despite a simple design they have very good food so I'll not hold it against you for now.
I hope they read this and follow the tips to make an even better business. Its such a gem with decent food I want to bring them to the next level in excellence. They might want to put out or send out their brochure to the local neighborhood (especially the local apartment complexes). These complexes get lots of brochures of bad pizza and Chinese anyways. They might get even more by putting a coupon in local papers and magazines the The Clipper (ie 10% off $25 or 20% a $50 order, etc.
