What a joke. Whoever owns this place has no idea of what food or service is about. If you know the area, the menu is an assortment of other good restaurants in town. Too bad they can't do thier own thing. The ribs don't even come close to the Red Arrow Road house. The owner walks around in shorts and gym shoes all winter. Class act! And he is a pompous a--! Don't waste your time or money in this well appointed bar.

Went to Jimmy's last night for dinner and was very optimistic when we were seated and looked at the menu. We ordered an appetizer, soups, meals for our children and entree salads for ourselves. Kids meals, appetizer and soups were served right away and were quite good. 30 minutes later we hadn't received our salads, we flagged down our waiter to inquire. We were told that meals are typically not placed until after you finish your appetizer. This didn't explain the 30 minute wait. During this time the waiter never returned to refill drinks or to check on us. They did box our salads to go and take the salads off of our bill however they left a sour taste in our mouths after the poor service. We will not be going back.

Stopped at Jimmy's yesterday around 3 in the afternoon, the place was half empty with plenty of open tables. We were told that there would a 5-10 minute wait. This isn't how you win new customers.

I had the Pecan encrusted chicken breast with Blackberry sauce. It was excellent. I can't wait to make the trip up there again and visit jimmy's.

We go in to New Buffalo every summer and had seen Jimmy's there next to Dollar General for a couple of years, so we figured it couldn't possibly be that good of a place...boy were we wrong!! The food is absolutely incredible. I ordered the pasta primavera and added chicken to it. Oh..my..gosh was that good. I also had the lobster bisque..to die for. My husband had the ribeye and was greatly pleased. He LOVED the chili. My daughter had the BLT that came with fries..both of which she devoured. Usually, she eats like a bird and ALWAYS takes the food home..not this time. Her plate was cleaned. The prices are slightly high, but for the quality of the food and the taste..it's well worth it. By the way..we never saw the owner.

My wife and I are from Hoffman Estates Il. We took a three day trip to New Buffalo. We wanted to see the Four Winds Cassino.Our first day,we left our Hotel in a search for a place to have lunch.We saw Jimmy's and thought we would give it a try.I love burgers,and think I know a good one.This was the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly on a fresh bun. We both liked it so much we went back 2 days later to try a different burger.Same results.Excellent.We will be back.

My family and I found this place on our way up North. Once we walked in we were suprised by decor. The place has a warm and comfortable atmosphere in the dining room. Behind the Bar is a very unique waterfall. The ceiling even has stars twinkling and a shooting stars to top it off. This was great because it entertained the kids the whole meal. I am very particular when it comes to clean and this place gets two thumbs up. I was amazed by how clean the whole resturant was but shocked when I saw how clean the restrooms were. They were even hands free. The owners thought of everything. You also have to check out the signage around the restrooms. They will make you laugh. I would give this place 5 stars for food, service and cleanliness. We would have never thought that the food, service and atmophere would be so GREAT from a place in strip mall! We will now be making this a stop every time we pass by New Buffalo. You have to try it.
