El Palenque Mexican Grill, Buffalo

WILL NOT RETURN!-Dinner out with a friend and love Mexican food and have been here a few times before and always loved the food...This time...we had just been seated and given the menu and she went to the table in back of us to see and then on her way back she asked if we were ready to order...didn t even look at the menu!! She rudley returned took our order and in 5 mins. it was at our table...not hot..dry..no taste... Had fried ice cream...freezer burnt and shell was very stale! AWFUL!!! Well...no tip for you babe!!!!! Taco Bell is a better choice...whats that tell you?

Excellent Food. Terrible service. Rude and slow. The person that served our meal literally threw the dishes on our table. Atmosphere was too noisy. Too bad.

If you have ever been to Mexico and enjoyed the food, you will love it here.Authentic,Good portions,and Great prices...Can't beat it anywhere outside of Mexico.

Very crappy place! We asked to get another table when we got in since we were shoved in the corner right by the bathroom & the waiter had a fit and the worst attitude! Margarita was nasty & I was charged a dollar more than it was on the menu! Did not argue for a dollar of course, but it doesn't end there! The quantity was extremely small for enchiladas and was still hungry after finishing it! And did I mention that the enchiladas were crappy as hell? My 14 year old sister can make better enchiladas! Atmosphere was dirty, bad service, the whole place smelled funny and it was pretty damn slow for a friday summer evening! Do not go to this place! It sux!

The food was horrible the service was the worst I wouldn't let my dog eat that crap

Lousy service, mediocre food Waiters are smarmy and slow. Last time we were there I ordered a margarita, the waiter forgot to bring it and it was on the bill. He realized it and crossed it off the bill before leaving it for us but never acknowledged that he had forgotten. Neither did I because we needed to go. We were there over the weekend and as we left we thanked the server but the big guy was just standing there staring into space but managed to mutter a barely audible thank you back. Guys get with it...if you're not careful, someone will come along and open a mexican restaurant with the quality and service that you are not providing currently. If you act like you don't want to be there then your customers wont want to be there either. Makes me miss the Denny's that occupied the space before you. For those of you who think there's nowhere else for Mexican than this, have you tried La Tolteca on Transit? In my opinon, they have way over El Pukey. And their service is far better, you wont feel like you're inconveniencing them by being there.

This place is my fave! Great food, quick service - the Cancun burrito is the best! I go at least twice a month or more. If this place leaves, it's going to be hard to find a replacement.

Absolutely love the food! Everyone is so pleasant and attentive! I love the decor - the hand-painted tables and benches. This is one of my top-rated restaurants.
