Sushi Suzuki, Metuchen

This place is the best around. The other place in Metuchen unfortunately gets more traffic due to personality rather than quality of food. This place is ten times better. So, if the quality of the food means more to you than being greeted "Hey, ,buddy! No sushi fo you!" (same old joke every time), then this place is the place to be.

Small restaurant with friendly, attentive service, and consistently fresh and beautifully-presented sushi. Fresh kitchen-prepared Japanese specialties are also available. Specials are also gorgeous and amazing. BYOB

My favorite place in the World....There great...I never eat in though...always take out...I put my boyfriend on it...before he never had sushi....we love it

I'm a huge fan of sushi and this place definitely did it for me! The place is small but still has a pleasant atmosphere and the service is great. The food was delicious. Some of the best sushi I've had.

I tried Sushi Suzuki for the first time last night. It was DELICIOUS. We only ate sashimi and everything was very fresh. We had it delivered and it arrived within 30 minutes and I can easily say this is my new spot for fresh sushi/sashimi in the woodbridge/menlo area!

Great food, Great Prices...Lunch under 10 dollars....but the only thing I don't like is the lack of variety in their drinks..I like original asian drinks. If you're ever in New Brunswick or Brooklyn, look for bubble milk tea, or anything with bubbles, you'll be in for a delightful treat. : )

Hands down the best sushi restaurant around here. I wrote a review that's alot longer than 4000 characters, so I will post on another website. To put it simple, if you are a serious sushi eater, this is the place to go. They regularly have califonia uni, japanese mackerel, bluefin as well as yellowfin toro, fresh water eel (anago) and king salmon. The fish is always fresh, the presentation is artistic - the noruto rolls are incredible, i just tell the chef to put whatever he wants in it. At this point, when I go in to eat, I just tell the chef make me a plate and he does a wonderful job every time. When you go with the more exotic stuff obviously this can hurt your wallet, but even if you go with a standard 'sushi deluxe' or chirashi, you can't go wrong. I can seriously talk forever about sushi, and moving here to metuchen after years in manhattan, it's so relieving that that you don't need drive miles to get good sushi. I got lucky finding Sushi Suzuki. Being a Metuchen native, I never thought I'd find the best Sushi restaurant imaginable in my own town. The rolls are very creative and overflowing with quality. The choice of seafood is second to none. The staff makes you feel like family. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

This quaint sushi restaurant is Metuchen’s best kept secret. Sushi Suzuki offers the absolute BEST sushi this side of the Pacific. The sushi is always fresh, and the staff is the friendliest around. They offer a variety of creative rolls that are delectable. They also have some rolls which are not listed on the menu, so always ask if they have any special rolls, one is the Naruto. They often have Toro, which melts in your mouth. On occasion they also have live scallop and other hard to come by sushi. Bring your own Sake, wine or beer and enjoy. Because if you like Sushi, you will love Sushi Suzuki in Metuchen. If sushi is not your thing, then the kitchen dishes such as hibachi are an excellent alternative.
