Angel's in the Park, Hot Springs

I would not object if someone accused Angels in the Park of having tacky décor, slow kitchen service (glacial slow at times), and unorganized floor service. It does have its “warts and horns”. But, Angels has never failed to provide my husband and me with an entertaining, unique, and delicious dining experience. The decor is by no means tactful, but tacky fun located in a handsome, historic building adjacent to the Park. It has ambiance - period. The staff is gracious and eager to serve, especially the Russian hobbit who shuffles around refilling your water/wine glass. She always has a story but never lingers or over stays her welcome. She is delightful and our favorite. The food is what brings us back time and time again. The menu is genuine Italian, prepared to perfection each and every time. The consistency has been remarkable. From Chicken Marsalis (my husband enjoyed it so much he ordered it two nights in a row!) to Veal Parmigiana, the prosciutto has always been perfect. We have never been disappointed. It may not be for everyone but we will continue to celebrate our Anniversary at Angels in the Park. It is an unforgettable dining experience.

I spend alot of time in Hot Springs. I have been to almost every Italian Restaurant in Hot Springs. This is the best I have found. It has everything going for it. Great food, nice location, Nice people at a fair price. Very nice decor. This is a winner!

This place is first rate. Real Italian, Nice location, nice staff and very well decorated. Prices are very fair for a fine dinning restaurant. Great wine list

Awful is how we felt after eating at Angel's in the Park (same owner as Angel's downtown). The food was pretty good, but the lighting was a weird blue (I guess they thought it was romantic), the street parking was dark. The biggest problem was that they refused to honor the $25 gift certificate I'd purchased online just the day before. The waiter didn't offer any discounts, even though we found out later that they give 50% off to hospitality workers. I left my name and number for the manager to call the next day, but it's been a week and I haven't hear from her.
