Food is very good - we lived in Bangkok and Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) and are familiar with Thai cuisine. Prices pretty much the same as other local Thai restaurants of equivalent quality & ambiance. Service was so-so. After waiting 6-7 minutes after being seated, had to get up and tell the waitress we were ready to order. She was chatting it up with some Thai girlfriends. Asked for lemon for iced tea - had to ask a second time. Food served promptly. Had to ask for soy sauce. It was a slow time - only two other tables occupied - no excuse for this level of service.
Probably won't go back for a while.
Good little place! It's hidden in a small little strip-mall in tempe, but its definiteley worth finding~
the pad thai is very good, the Tea is the BEST, their version of spicy isnt TOO spicy, and everything was all around great--I just went there for my birthday party and I'd go again!
go there with friends and family, its definitley a festive type of place, not a romantic get-away so don't expect some romantic moonlight restuarant. The waitstaff was friendly and the place was immaculate! not one bit of dirt or scum anywhere, and the girls wear protective gloves when touching your plates! they really go all the way with sanitation and cleanliness.
I very much recommend lemongrass! good food, good prices, check it out!
I have been eating at Lemongrass since they opened. They are always very friendly and the food is great. I usually get either the Thai Fried Rice or Green Curry, both with shrimp. I think those two dishes are much better at Lemongrass than at Thai Basil or Char's. Probably depends on your taste which restaraunt you'll end up liking better. But if you like Thai food, you should definately check out Lemongrass at least once.
