It's the most tolerable 'Sports Bar' for non sports enthusiasts around - because despite the sports-tuned-TV-screen-covered walls, it is music, not obnoxious sportscasting that has filled the air each time I've been in. There's not much for vegetarians - and it's too bad, since, all the ingredients for a great veggie club are already in other items on the menu: several types of cheese, avocado, mixed greens, cucumbers, killer spicy tartar sauce, tomatoes (good ones) and a variety of nice rolls & breads to choose from. Maybe they don't want to attract tree huggers ;-) - and luckily, I'm not a vegetarian - but I seem to have a lot of veggie friends - and I'd like to dine at Beyond the Glory more often . . . and with the veggie friends. There is a black bean burger (which sounded rather ominous to all of us - but maybe do-able if you don't plan to be in close quarters with anyone afterwards. . . .Great salads, caesars, mixed greens, ahi tuna special & a fried chicken salad. Oh, one gripe - there's a dill pickle sliced lengthwise served alongside every dish it seems - and the flavor of the pickle infuses the surrounding food with its dill pickle-y taste. . . . yech.
