Procentos Pizzeria, Galena

Guests are welcomed with open arms at Procento's Pizzeria. Jack Edens, owner of Procento's, has a long and successful history of making fine food and for making people feel welcome. In the 1970's Jack started in the restaurant business in Mundelein, IL where he owned a 10,000 square foot restaurant, Pope's Garden of Eden, named after both his father and step-father. There he was known for his Steak, Lobster and American fare. In the 1980's Jack decided to down size and opened Double D Pizza in Waukegan, IL where he perfected his famous double3decker pizza with homemade crust, made from scratch, and his signature pizza sauce. In 2001, Jack and his wife, Tammy, visited Galena on a 3 day vacation and came home to tell their boys they were moving. They knew that Galena would be the perfect place to raise their two boys, Ryan and Jack Jr. In 2006 Jack opened Procento's Pizzeria, a family owned and operated restaurant. Jack brought his famous double3decker pizza to Galena where everything is made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. Enjoy over 50 varieties of pizza and don't forget the daily specials: pastas, Chicken Parmesan, homemade Lasagna with pounds of ricotta cheese in every pan. Try Jack's Fettuccini Alfredo where the sauce is made with real whipping cream and Romano cheese. End the dining experience with Galena's own homemade cheesecake or perhaps try a hand stuffed cannoli dipped in pasticcio nuts or tiramisu.
