Captain Zodiac, Kailua Kona

We had Shane and Buddha as our guides. They were very friendly and informative. They answered every question anyone had, were very concerned about everyone's safety and never rushed any part of the excursion. There was one person that could not swim, and they were very patient and helpful teaching her to snorkel. They were also very kid friendly. Buddha treated the kids with respect, like they were adults, but was very playful with them. This was the best part of our trip. Great snorkeling and great value.

The tour with Karl and Karmila was fun, entertaining, informative and I felt safe! I lived in Kona 20 years ago and never knew all the history and facts I learned in this 4 hours. We saw spinning dophins, whales and lots of fish when snorkeling. Even those of you who have never snorkeled will feel safe and love it. It was relaxing and very entertaining with lots of laughs. I would do this again. Karmila even gave me a ride back to my hotel when my dud traveling pal took the car and didnt come back to get me! mahalo! Patty

Favorite part of our vacation. An absolutely thrilling ride! Fast but safe. Saw schools of spinner dolphins, tuna and sea birds. Snorkel sight was crystal clear and very interesting home for many fish. The crew was fun and informative. I highly recommend this and plan on doing it again for sure. It's a 10 in my book and worth the money. My only regret was that I didn't bring the camera because I was afraid it would get wet. Kathy & Paul

We absolutely LOVED our tour guide, Mitch, and his side kick. He was very funny and informative. We felt safe as he yelled out "wikki, wikki" for us to hold on tight. He kept a close eye on all of us as we snorkled around the boat and took us up close to the volcano tubes along the cliffs explaining the story of Pele and her form in the side of the cliffs. I would recommend this excursion to everyone who loves the wind in their hair and hearing history of the Kona side of Hawaii. We are from Rhode Island with my husband being a commercial fisherman in Narragansett Bay but he still loved being on this raft water tour. Thank you Mitch, you're the best!

Had a ton of fun on this companies outting . Colin great guyand he really earn's your dollars worth ,but his female counter part,was rude and spoke down to people on the raft, plus every time a photo opt came around she planted her her self in the way. And she snapped picture after picture hey I thought thats why we paid to come out here ? But the overall day was great I just hope the captain takes this girl from california aside and reminds her of her place , In the raft out of the way and be polite to the tourist they pay your days wage. But do the tour its worth every penny .

This excursion was by far one of the best! Our guides were Colin and Brittany. They were very friendly, easy to talk to, and they made the whole experience one to remember forever! All 6 of us had a blast! It was a fast and wild ride and on our way to and from our destination, we were able to see several whales and dolphins! Would recommend this trip to anyone and everyone!

I thought the overall experience of the trip was ok, however Leslie was very rude to one of the people on the excursion. Chad was very nice and kept everyone laughing. Leslie, should not be working for you, she had a bad attitude towards tourists. One of the guys on the raft couldn't swim, he started to panick and wanted back on the raft, he started to go up the ladder with his fins on. She shouted at him and said how many times do I have to tell you not to go up the ladder with your fins on, I was out snorkeling in the water, and I heard her from where I was, this guy was foriegn and couldn't understand english very well. I asked her if she liked her job and she just rolled her eyes and started to tell us that soon they were going to have 3 ships come into port and very sarcastically she said "I can't wait" overall my experience was just ok, I don't think I would recommend this to any of my friends, 8 of which will be there in October. I had this trip recommended to me as a great time. It was exactly that. Our guides Carl and Sheke were very personable and knowledgeable along with being lots of fun. Each added a playful spirit which brought our boat to life. I was impressed by the amount of detail given to the island history and physical attributes described for us.(local legends,geological processes etc.) The time at Snorkle Bay was amazing. I really enjoyed the trip out and back because of the fresh air going by at about 40 mph. I am recommending this excursion to everyone I know because of my experience. I can't think of a better way to spend 4 hours on vacation.
