Description

Be a paniolo at Ponoholo! Or, if that doesn't appeal to you, try hiking or biking through acres of ranch land on the Big Island's north-western shore. This company is all about rugged, only-for-the-fit, environmentally friendly activities. An archery range is on hand for eco-correct hunting. A half-dozen horse rides, bike rides and hikes explore the 11,000-acre ranch every day. Schedules are tailored to fit the whims of customers. For horse rides, there is a 285-pound maximum weight. Most activities are appropriate for age 8 and up.Reservation is essential.

Awesome Ride and Guides

Great Views. Perfect Horses for our level of riding. Everything was first rate and even though a couple in our group had never ridden, the Professional Staff matched them with the perfect horse and with their expert instruction everyone had a great ride. I highly reccommend this for everyone, Including kids. You will have a good time and you will feel safe.

Not going to return

Went Thanksgiving week for a ride, Was tricked into coming up the hill. Bob said weather was fine. Very bad weather, windy windy windy,rain,and cold. The ride should have been cancelled or resquld. A bad extpierance for everyone that went. We couldnt waint to get back into our cars and turn up the heat.

Wonderful ride, great scenery!

It was a good ride, good value for the money.Wish I could go back again. The guides were friendly and personable. The horse was good, but for an experienced rider I would have liked one that responded more to me and not want to follow nose to tail. I would gladly ride again, only on a different ride, just for a change of pace.
