Sandwich Isle Divers, Kailua Kona

There was nothing I did not like about the dive shop or diving with the shop or the crew. It was the best time we have had diving in Hawaii in a long time. If you want to go out and enjoy a "GOOD TIME", diving and not being rushed and doing a little bit of fishing in-bu - tween diving and FISHING it is a great time to enjoy the "Time"' with this crew. Captain Steve and his crew were thre best. We will dive with the again. We loved every miniute! Can't wait to be on the boat again!!!!!!!

LOVED SANDWICH ISLAND DIVERS!!! I did 3 days of diving with Captain Steve, Mary, Jamie & Bob. Do you want to be well cared for in a group of 6 divers or less? Do you want to dive with people who will be there when you can't wait to go back to the big island again? This is the place for you. My husband went out as a snorkeler one day when the boat wasn't full of divers. He had a great time watching us dive and the other fish too. I had a recomendation for Sandwich Island divers from a friend who lived here in the 90's. This was his dive shop. I met a family of 3 who had been diving with Steve for over 15 years. They were diving every other day for 2 weeks. I will be sure to call and make my reservation early the next time I'm on the big island and may it be sooner rather that later. Mahalo Steve and gang!!! Brilliant, amazing! Timing was good, whether it was the full moon or just luck, we had really incredible diving and snorkeling here. But no question we had great hosts- Sandwich Isle was very professional and personable. As new divers were both supported and challenged- a great way to dive with family or friends- bring 'em down! THANKS for an unforgettable time Steve and Mary and staff-choke good times!

Steve & the crew were excellent! We did a referral with book & pool work back home. Sunday & Monday were our check-out dives and by the time we finished our manta night dive on Thursday, we felt like friends. Skip the boats with tons of people --- dive with Sandwich Isle Divers and enjoy the personal touch Steve, Bob, Tim and the rest of the crew deliver with much fun! We can't say enough about how great this entire crew was. They wouldn't let us book the Manta dive until it was worth it (near full moon/waited until the Rays came back). These guys are worth every penny we spent and then quite a bit more. For instance, the first day we dove, it was with a father & daughter. Dad had dove with them a couple of times in the past (last in 2001) - he had dove in Oahu last year but couldn't remember the company . . . . but remembered Sandwich Isle Divers from 8 years prior (and booked with them yet again). That says something to me. When a business treats you this good, it's time to pay attention and recommend them - that's why we're here now. If you are ever in Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawaii you should look these guys up and go for the ride of your life!

Steve and Lara are professional and friendly. They treat you like family! They and their staff know the local waters as well as anyone could. They treat new divers respect and are willing to share their experiences. They take only 6 divers at a time so you don't feel like you're on a cattle boat. I've done 8 boat dives with them an am doing 8 later this month. Do yourself a favor... try these guys! Randy

Our family did certification dives and snorkeling with them and they were *wonderful*. Being on a small boat with a small dive shop made the experience so comfortable and friendly and personal. Don't mistake "small" for "rinky-dink". They showed as much safety, professionalism and experience as any large dive shop; and a whole lot more flexibility. We would definately go back to them!
