Description

In spite of its Kailua location, this place manages to maintain a fairly low-key, local atmosphere. It serves all kinds of sandwiches, salads and fresh fish dishes—and it serves them till nearly midnight, which is noteworthy to any night owls coming in from the mainland. There are two dining rooms, the air-conditioned lounge and the Garden Lanai. Both are great places to kick back with a bottle of Budweiser or a Kona-brewed ale and a platter of hot, greasy fish-n-chips.

The food is excellent. The fish,ono was to die for. Wonderful service. Very Fast! Priced right.. We would recommend buying one order of fish and fries and sharing it. Lots and lots of food!!

i may be partial since we are close friends of the owner's but anytime i go back to kona i will be eating at quinn's...amazing variety of food and great service...enjoy amazing food while sitting outside in the lanai and catch a peek of some hawaiian naturals

Locals eat at Quinn's

food is great every time and the outdoor seating in the back is such a cozy and tropical environment. As local Kona residents, we frequently bring friends to dine when they are visiting the Big Island or refer guests looking for good food to put Quinn's on their list. I prefer the Lo Cal plate with locally caught Ono fish. It's all good at Quinn's and an easy walk in the downtown Historic Kailua Village area.

Best overall dining in Kona

Don't be put off by the brutal parking situation, high quality with a quirky clientel. Best Kal-bi I have ever had. Their fried fish is truly good. Its a repeat location for us as we have not yet been disappointed. They manage a fried calamari that is not chewy like so many.
