The building that this spa is in is very old and dingy looking. When you first enter the building, it looks quite nice. However, the prices have gotten SO extremely high, that I- along with many others I'm sure- can no longer afford to go there. (unless I receive a gift certificate) I also did not like it when my esthetician tried her best to push their expensive products on me. To me, that is not very professional. I understand "recommending products", but I hate to feel as if I am being pushed to purchase. Overall, I do not think that this spa is worth the money. I have been to much nicer spas in the Brandon area.
I loved it. I went with a bridal party and we all enjoyed it very much. From the moment I walked in I was relaxed. The whole environment was so soothing and relaxing. The actual massage was excellent. The lady did a great job. It is pricy but worth every penny.
I highly recommend it to everyone.
I've been DAY DREAMING about the massage and facial I treated myself to ever since I left The Day Dreams Spa in Brandon a few weeks ago. I was on vacation and was staying with my sister who resides in Valrico, and she came up with the idea of going to this spa for some much needed pampering. Thank God she suggested it! I live in New Jersey (approximately 25 miles from NYC) so I am no stranger to stress, anxiety, and a non-stop lifestyle. When I left this spa, I truly felt like a new woman. This was my first ever spa experience and I can tell you that it won't be my last! I am already looking forward to visiting this spa again in the summerof 2008.
This spa is the best I've ever been to. I've been to Bliss in NYC, Canyon Ranch, Safety Harbor Spa (this place is a joke)...none compare to DayDreams. Don't let the exterior of this place fool you..once you step inside, you are in another world. Services are superior to any spas i've been to. Prices are reasonable. I wish I could go once a week.
I worked for Day Dreams some time ago as a nail technician and the only reason I left was the insult of making only 35% comission on services!!!! First of all I have been in this business a very long time and have worked in all kinds of spa's and salon's and I have NEVER been paid so low in all my years! The standard commission in any salon or spa is usually 50% or 55%. I only stayed as long as I did because I thought there would be an increase at some point, but that is totally out of the question! It does not matter how long you have been in the business or how good you are, it is and will always be 35% commission. This is truly a shame, you would think that if they wanted to keep their fantastic technicians they would at least offer them the same if not more than what everyone is paying. AT LEAST BE FAIR!!! Aside from that the Spa is very nice.
Soothing atmosphere, serene music and the employees can not seem do enough to make you experience special. I have been here numerous times, often with my daughter, and have NEVER been disapointed with the services. I feel like a sister or a coveted friend each time I visit. Well worth the time and the money.
Pros: Upbeat and friendly staff, great mood lighting, comfortable waiting area with snacks and beverages, storefront with spa products and eclectic items, modern equipment, superior product line. Food service available.
Moderate: The staff that provided my services did a good job. My gut insticts tell me that they have
What a wonderful and relaxing place. I can't wait to go back again and again. I have traveled all over the U.S. and have been to many spa's and this is what relaxing is all about!
This Atlantan knows a great spa when she finds one and this is IT!
The owners have a true respect for their customers, which keeps us coming back time and again. They know how to pamper us, beginning with the "Tranquility Room" as we await our services. The music is gorgeous, wine, water and cookies are there for the taking. The mood is set the moment you walk in, with soft lights, delicious aromas, music and lovely people to help you.
This spa DESERVES 5 stars!
