BEST WATER PARK I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!
By anonymous, 5/24/12
Im 13 and i live about 45 to an hour away from Adventure Islands. I'm more of a water ride kind of person then a roller coaster. I have been to dozens of different water parks and Adventure Islands is definitely with out a single doubt in my mind the BEST water park i have ever been too. my little 7 year old cousins even love the place. they have stuff for all ages. rides ranging from 10ft tall to a 100ft tall. i have rode all of them and i personally like Wahoo run the best. its calm relaxing, but still is high enough to give u the thrill of a good water slide. gulf stream would have to be my second favorite because its the tallest slide and the fastest slide in the park. it was totally worth buying the 1 year weekday pass

Univeral "Oceans of Humanity" Park
By Midwesterner, 2/27/12
We visited the park during the time of year that would be expected to be the not so busy season. The park was extremely over crowded and riding the amusement rides meant spending the entire day standing in mile long lines. What a scam. The Harry Potter ride was not worth spending hundreds of dollars and swimming in an ocean of humanity unless that is the thing that you seek for your vacations. Consumers beware; this venue is way over rated, over priced and over marketed.

great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/10
easy access to everything. only negative was the prepaid wristband. last year with the band you were able to get a balance every time you purchased an item, which was great because you always knew how much was left on your account. this year they installed new software that eliminated that feature. this makes no sense. i was told that you get a receipt after every transaction of what you just purchased but doesn't say what you have left. the whole purpose behind the wristband is to eliminate the need to carry money, so why do they want us to carry around useless receipts? let's hope they fix that in the future.

SENIOR CITIZENS AGE 70
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/22/10
Why don't you set up a price plan for us old farts who bring our grandkids, but never get in the water or ride any rides...My grandsons love to go...and their parents take them often..then when I want to take them you charge me $37.. and all I do is find a shade and sit until they are worn out...$15 or $20 would be reasonable for an old man to pay to sit and wait for the boys age 6 to 15 to enjoy themselves...Just an idea...and yes do it only for Florida Residents....I think it would encourage more "Pop's" to spend a buck or two and bring the kiddies ..for you foke it is a win win..gives us a different colored arm band..catch in the water charge double..ha

Won't go back
By Christopher M, 7/17/10
Not impressed with the handicapped unfriendly aspect of the park. I use a cane to walk and since I was unable to take the cane down the larger slides with me, we had spent $112 to wade in a pool and ride a tube. There was also a poor supply of tubes for the amount of people using the river ride. We won't go back or recommend Adventure Island to anyone, especially if they have a disability. Other shortcomings is the costs. $12 for a locker? I remember lockers in parks used to be $1.00 to obtain, and then $1.00 for each subsequent usage of this. And when you charge as much as this park charges to even get in, it seems a bit much to also charge $12 MORE just to park.

I love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/09
I go there quite often and I am never disappointed. The lazy river is the best thing to me. I am going there again on Sat. the 8th of August 2009.

very dissappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/20/09
My son and his girlfriend went to Adventure Island on Sunday July 19. They came home and were very disappointed. The water was dirty, and someone had pooped on the sidewalk and left it there... They felt it has really failed in cleaniness. The fact that you pay 40.00 a piece. And then they went to the eating area, and there was food all over the floor. I guess if you have alot of children that you let pee in the pool and poop...this is the place to go. I felt really bad for them as they don't really have that kind of money to spend and then not enjoy their time there.
