Dagobert, Quebec City

Went to Quebec in February with my 2 buddies(all 18), our plan was to have a fun time around town during carnival hanging around the ice bars. when we we were introduced into chez dagobert it changed out last two nights completely. I live in new england and have been to a couple clubs, but i had always turn away by the grungy sketchy crowds. none of that in dagobert, Clean, well organized, well designed, amazing light show, crisp chest shaking sound, great crowd, and did i say amazing light show? No video will every emerss you in the Dagobert experience, you just have to have been there to know were im coming from. im not only saying its a great place, im telling you plan a Quebec city vacation around the Chez Dagobert experience, its that special.

I went there last Wednesday and Thursday nights. The terrace is really nice and the music outside is not too loud so you can talk easily. There is also a bar outside with a roof so you can have a few dry places even if it's raining. For the hip-hop lovers, this is without a doubt the place to be on Wednesday. The third floor is jam-packed but there is some reggae on the second floor and you have more place to move. As for the quality of the hip-hop, I can't tell but most of the people seems to enjoy and dance. As for thursdays there is a lot less people and from what i have heard from some staff members, it's always like that, even though the resident dj plays some really good house (third floor) and there is a talented rock band on the second floor playing covers from the 80s-90s. The price of the beer is 4.75$ and the selection is restricted to labatt products and shooter prices are decents. Most of the staff is sociable (when they are not busy) like a lot of people in Quebec city and the crowd is between 18-25 years old. I went there alone and I had a great time both nights, even more on thursday because of the kind of music that was played. I suggest that you have a look at their web site and check the schedule, they have some special nights with international djs and there is a lot of people fridays and saturdays, from what i have heard. I usually don't give 5 stars because it means something close to perfection, but this nightclub is one of the best of the city and i have done most of them.

This club is perfect for everyone. If you're looking for some techno and house music, look no farther than the huge 3rd floor. With lights, lasers, and a huge drop down screen for certain occasions this is the dancer's dream. If you're more into the rock scene, head downstairs and watch a live band shred it up. If, like me, you're just looking to get drunk, head to one of the 7 bars and relax in one of the many comfortable booths and watch others do their thing on the dance floor.

The place is amazing! If your 18 or older the Chez Dagobert (DAG) IS YOUR HEAVEN! ITS WORTH EVERY FACKIN CENT. 3 FLOORS OF AMAZING MUSIC AND CWAZY AS LIGHT SHOWS! the DAG IS THE GOD IN CLUB FORM!

I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! I went there for one night of party... dance all night! Loved the lights, music etc. This club was like beyond my imagination... only things I see on TV. Awesome!

we left to quebec on wed and we went there everynite until sat nite. one of the best clubs i have been into. beautiful inside. very good service. only thing i didnt like was that we bought a bottle of 60 oz jin everynite plus other drinks. and on sat nite the manger came and see us and instead of giving us a free bottle he told us that people usually never buy such a big bottle 4 nites in a row and that we shouldnt get use of buying 60 oz bottles but we told him were from out of town and that we wont be there everynite the days that we do show up we will buy bottles and he was cool about it so it wasnt that bad.

It was so crazy being at the dag, everyone was going wild and the music was great. the place was packed every nite i was there. the bar service was speedy. We went with breakaway tours am im pretty sure the dag was the best part of the trip. i miss it!!!

The Dagobert is the coolest place ive ever been in my life. When i die i would rather go to there then heaven. The live bands downstairs were awesome and the techno dance music upstairs was even better.

Me and my friends went to Dagobert one friday night and it was amazing. All 3 floors were wikid. Music upstairs and downstairs was awesome. Cover charge was not bad, 5 bucks. Bad beer selection tho! If your in Qu�bec I highly recomend this one!

My friends and I went on a Breakaway Tours Trip to Qu bec City on March Break 2004. It was the best trip ever! So good that we're all going back! Chez Dagobert was a most amazing bar we had a blast there. All three floors were wicked! The drinks and the music were all amazing as well! Way to go!
