Located in the beautiful Place Royale , Le Cafe du Monde is an inviting bistro facing the docks. Both customers and staff seem to be in a constant state of good cheer perhaps the result of the warm atmosphere and food. This cafe serves excellent French cuisine. Let's not forget the exquisite creme brûlee and the cheesecake, the inevitable happy ending of a meal at Cafe du Monde.
My teenagers enjoy the atmosphere and the chicken dishes. We enjoy the pretty restaurant, the setting and the easy parking in the restaurant's own parking lot. Prices are very reasonable for Old Quebec. When you get a good waitperson, the service is fun and attentive. When you get a stiff, then it detracts from the experience. Try it. We travel to Quebec twice a year from Rhode Island and eat at Cafe du Monde each time.
