Petit Coin Breton (Au), Quebec City

Food was over-priced and under-whelming. I wouldn't recommend it, or ever go back.

- What I did like : o the place (nice place) o the position (near the rempart of quebec)...that's it - What I did not like : o the food was just awfull, and I'm taking care of what I'm saying (because I think it was disg....). Let's sume up : I took a crepe with boar, the most expensive one (18$), and results : a crepe whichc comes from the fridge with boar out of a can...scandalous.. my wife took a "gratins" (you know, the famous gratin from bretagne...ha you don't know, it's normal it does NOT EXIST!), this one was better it came directly from the freezer (the center was not cook) with a stop to the microwave (15$)...and the best for the end : my wife sister took a standard crepe (ham, cheese and eggs) : the wife was completly broken, it did no more look to a crepe but much more like a crepe which was taken from a dog mouth (i'm not kiding), but best of the best, inside : 3 slices of ham (coming from tray of ham...from the supermarket, not even cut, they did not try to hide this detail, no, they just put 3 superimposed slices of ham), they were no chesese and the egg was just egg sauce... But thank you, because it was one of my funiest moment in my life (at least, we laugh a lot about thuis "cuisine")...

I would not recommend this restaurant. Although the staff was friendly, and the service was adequate, the food was horrible. The crepe was dry and without flavour, and the filling of shrimp and asparagus was uninspired. The presentation was totally not appealing- the crepe was a big blob on a plate with no garnish, and at $18.00 was totally overpriced. Don't waste your money - I was really disappointed with this restaurant Langley, BC

My husband and I ate at this restaurant based on the previous reviews and were very disappointed. The environment spelled "tourist" and the food was terrible. My husband ordered the chicken and mushroom crepe with white sauce and received the pork and mushroom with no sauce (they brought him the sauce in a bowl as a side instead - a good thing as it was like a thick paste). I ordered the mushroom and asparagus crepe. The asparagus was woody - should have brought a chain saw. The pork dry - my husband just set it aside on his plate. The crepes themselves were dry and tough. The staff was friendly but clumsy. Our wine was served to us like cheap beer and slopped all over our table. Really, the place seemed "burned out" on tourists. Run-of-the-mill. We passed another crepe restaurant just down the street (still on Saint Jean) with the line out the door. Quick examination of the food on the plates there looked like it was probably much better. Sorry, don't know the name of the place.

This place offers a dining experience of the type that you will remember all of your life. It is relatively inexpensive and at the same time offeers the diner an exotic little taste of Brittany. The food is excellent and the waitresses are elegant in their costumes of lace headpiece and period dress.They are also very friendly. Try it, you'll like it.

Try the daily special which is a crepe that comes with salad/soup, dessert and coffee or tea. Best Creperie in town with the best selection.

I like this place, thought I have never been there before, but I know alot about it, and have talked to a few people who have been there. I'm doing a project that involved me finding out info about Canadian food... Cunuck food sounds pretty good.
