Owners Daniel Vezina and Suzanne Gagnon named this popular and upscale restaurant after their two children. The very friendly couple is well-known in Quebec for their warm personalities and for high quality cuisine. The Gourmet Menu allows you to taste some of their best dishes, like Jerusalem Artichoke Blinis with Abitibi sturgeon egg cream, Carefully Smoked Sturgeon, and duck foie gras with chicken broth and Mr Bielier's dried cranberries. The impressive wine cellar includes a broad range of countries. Tables d'hôte start at CAD44.
We have dined in many fine restaurants around the world, but this was the best!Everything was so fresh and delicieux!!!!
Great pastry chef,I can't wait to go back.
Bon travail!
We went for the lunch special (a 3 course plus coffee bargain at just over $20). The staff was very accommodating to limited French and my husband's English-only, as well as whipping up a delicious vegetarian appetizer on the spot. The food was fresh, interesting, and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive without obsequious and the ambiance was perfect.
Lousy service no english spoken in the whole joint the food was discusting and over priced the waiter and waitress did not know the menu all they talked about was the wine and even then i did not belive them.
rude service when told the shrimp appetizer was raw
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/14/06
It is incredible how rude the waiter's response was when we told him part of the shrimp appetizer was raw. He told us the shrimp is not supposed to be shrivelled. We are from the New York City area and have eaten at the finest restaurants in the world. It is not a good idea to eat shrimp raw unless it is cerviche or a shushi grade small sweet shrimp. To be insulted after having a mediocre (at best) amuse bouche and ordinary bread we left without eating the main course.
We have dined in many fine restaurants over the years, but this meal ranks as one of the best, if not the best meal we have ever
experienced. Every morsel was divine!
