Pho Vietnam Restaurant, Danbury

I have been going to Pho for a awhile now and I call for take out a lot as well as have eaten there once with my family. I called for take out tonight and when she answered the first thing she said was, Hello Kim what can I get for you? !!! She knew me by name! That made me feel great and like they cared. They are ALWAYS so kind and accommodating. The food is out of this world fantastic. I have never had a bad experience and no one else I know has either. The girls are always so nice and I feel right at home when I go in to pick up or eat in. The Pho Sizzle has become my comfort food along with the amazing bubble tea!!! LOVE YOU GUYS AND GALS!

Consistently delicious authentic Vietnamese food. Pho is outstanding, as are spring rolls (usually called summer rolls) and egg rolls (usually called spring rolls, but so what?). They have improved the interior, which used to be squalid. Excellent food at very reasonable prices.

The service is terrible, the daughters and other relatives of the owner “4 girls” act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. The amount of food for the price is not worth it. I am very familiar with the traditional service you get in any Asian restaurants. They are simple and efficient, get the customer in and out fast. However they will not look down at the customers. I have a large family in the area and we all agree that this place is not worth going back too. For the other reviews that I have read, they had to be written by relatives.

We've always loved this restaurant for it's good foods and good prices. A bowl of pho always hit the hunger spot. However, we went there last Sunday at 7:45 pm, and they were closing already even though the business sign on the door said open till 9 pm. No reason or excuses were given. Unreliabiable business hours!

Love this place, always great noodles, appetizers are great, service always with a smile and good value for money.

Pho Vietnam is the best restaurant that i have ever tasted is my life not only that but it has good prices too. I tried the spring roll which was made with rice paper and fresh vegtables that came with a peanut sauce which tasted delightful. than i had a large bowl of soup made with noodles and beef broth and some chicken on the side that soup was so flavorful that it felt like i was in heaven. for dessert i had a coconut flavored bubble tea which was delicious and they usually don't sell those around here i use to go to NY just to get those now i know i just have to drive to Danbury which is a lot closer. but i saw this dessert called cassava which also looked very good maybe next time i eat there i will get that. oh yea the servers were very polite and patient they weren't like some of the other servers i know at some other restaurants.

We love this restaurant. Tonight was our 2nd time there. First time was in February to celebrate Tet with our daughter. Tonight we celebrated 1 year since our adoption day. Anyway, I love the spring rolls - as fresh and delicious as they were in Hanoi. I also had the steamed wontons and they were very good. My husband had a special - mussels with curry and coconut milk – really good. My son had the chicken wings and Vietnamese egg rolls - he loved both. We shared the Vietnamese fried rice with shrimp – so many big, delicious shrimp in this dish. We love Vietnamese fried rice! For main dishes, my son had the Pan fried salmon with sweet chili sauce – unbelievable! I had the Sautéed chicken & Pineapple – absolutely scrumptious. My husband had the Sautéed beef & Broccoli, which he loved. Yes we really at ethat much food! We wanted to order everything. I ordered an order of spring rolls and egg rolls to bring home for tomorrow. Looking for ward to lunch tomorrow. I cannot wait to go back. We won’t wait as long this time.

Excellent food and very friendly and accommodating staff. My mom is vegetarian and the waitress was very patient and proactive about what she could order. She ended up getting the hot and sour soup with Pho added in it.

Greatest place to eat or take out. Highly recommend it.

one of a kind for ct. worth driving+50 miles. try any vermicelli dishes with the fresh mint leaves. or the spring roll app. and also the soup is different.
