I went to Doodles recently and found out new owners (very cool btw) took over in May and have really cleaned up the place. Frozen mugs of beer really hit the spot. The servers are the hottest in the valley and very friendly. Great food and drink specials. New cooks prepare some of the best food values in town. Lots of new entertainment going on too. Went to an 80's party recently and it was a blast. I'm going back for comedy night this weekend.
Best place in town for sports! The wings are the best and you cant beat 34oz beers for $6 in their tall mugs! The waitresses there are friendly and HOT!!! Finally open until 2AM!! Best place in town for a night out. Not the BEST place for food, but they got some great Happy Hour Deals!! Its been cleaned up and modernized since the Tree House! Been going for 8 years!
If i could give no stars i would. Having worked down the street for 2 years i was pretty much a regular there for lunch. How ever last weekend after having hyped up my crew for a good night of darts and drinking. Me and my crew were very disappointed. 1st off we tried getting into the room where the pool tables electronic dart boards and games were at.Pretty much the only room that is worth entering. We were told there was a $15.00 cover charge since there was a UFC fight goiong on. We were just looking to play some darts and drink some beers. We were told the fight would be over in about 1/2 hour to and hour . so we went to the other room to have a beer and wait. we waited 15min. for the bartender to even acknowledge us and take our order. we then sat there for about 45 min. before trying to enter the second room again. We tried 2 twice only to be lied to. The bouncer kept on saying the fight is almost over come back in 15 to 30 min. So back to 1st sorry ass room with the music cranked to 1000 db and no one on the dance floor. The last straw was when we were watching the only tv they had on in that room . One of the employees came over turned it off, looked at us and then walked away. we then decided to get the hell out of there. I remember as we were walking out one of the girls that was outside smoking , said does anybody even dance at this place? Dont waste your time or your money here it is not worth it. To top it all off we ended up at a sports bar in Thousand Oaks which was previewing the UFC fight for free.
Service is very slow and the employees are understaffed and slow.
Had to order from the bar twice.
Also the calamari isn't good. Looks like onion rings and very salty. Instead of cocktail sauce we got salsa.
Playing pool was an experience. We had trouble with all the balls returning. Twice.
And bring your own stick. The table next to the pool sticks leans to one side. You'll see as the cue ball rolls.
Over priced for the value.
