Rum Barrel Restaurant
Rum Barrelac2s menu offers an eclectic mix of fresh local seafood, mouth-watering munchies, and creatively prepared big plates. A few notable menu offerings include our delicious and freshly prepared Crab Cakes, boneless and plump Chicken Tenderloins tossed in one of our homemade sauces, Big-Ass 10 oz. Burgers and a 12-ounce Captainac2s Sirloin Steak. Oh, and we canac2t forget our real Philly Cheesesteaks, straight from Genoac2s on the corner of 8th and Wharton streets in South Philly! Our talented kitchen team and awesome Chef Pat Dunn is always on the hunt for new and exciting grub to tantalize the taste-buds of our Rum Barrel guests.
We have made several trips to Key West. Unfortunately for us, we did not find the Rum Barrel until our last trip. We have another trip booked for this summer and will be eating and introducting friends, coming w/us, to this restaurant. The staff was courteous, service was great and the food, well let's just say, it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. You have to try the pan-seared Mahi Mahi. This will be our first stop for dinner. If the weather is nice, we WILL be eating outside. Can't wait.......
I was appalled when I entered the ladies room to find an employee exiting and she did not wash her hands. We did not return and won't. Service was lackluster and the mixed drinks were overpriced compared to Duval St. which was unusual. Beer prices were fine. No smoking.
This was one of the last restaurants that we visited before the end of our vacation....i wish we would have know about it earlier in the trip and we would have came back every night! Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and live music really made this place enjoyable! i highly recommend it to anyone we will be back next year!
Thisplacewasgreat! We had excellent food, great service from our waitress, Errin, and had a great time. The kitchen was so fast, that even though we were in a hurry, we made it on time and found time to go back later. We will definately go there again!!!!!!

you will find avant garde artwork in the gallery upstairs and great chow at modest prices in the restaurant. ...
