My boyfriend and I tried this place because we were looking for something different. When you walk into this place the smell of spices surround you and makes you taste buds water. We decided to share the onion rings with Creamy green onion yogurt dipping sauce. We loved them so much we almost wanted to order more. Yummy ! For the entrees I tried the Mediterranean meatball sandwich. Oh so good and it was served with pita chips and a salad with a yogurt sauce. My boyfriend tried the Saffron chicken kebab wrap which was huge. We each shared some of each others entree and we loved them both. The atmosphere was very mediterranean with the tile work , the paintings and the wood stove burning. Our server was warm and friendly and attentive. We would really recommend this restaurant to anyone and We are definately going back. We want to try everything on the menu.
My Grandfather suggested going to Zameen after a family graduation and I am glad he did! The comfortable and open atmosphere - as well as the tranquil decor - of Zameen made me feel comfortable immediately. We had a party of six w/ one person in a wheelchair who found it to be highly access-able. :) So when we got the food everyone loved what they ordered! I got the veggie kabob wrap, which I ate half of and Loved, then took the rest home. They have a wonderful patio area as well as indoor seating (we sat indoors). This is a nice casual place that is great for any person who likes Mediterranean or even vegetarian food. The meat eaters in the group ate everything so I'm guessing they Liked it too!
Their sweet potato fries with pomegranate walnut sauce is KILLER! I had a cheese, fresh tomato and prosciutto flatbread and it was really tasty, not to mention it lasted me two meals.
Clean, cool atmosphere and great service - Ed is the best and I'll be back whenever I'm in the area :)
Was really impressed with this place and had been recommended it by a friend of mine and decided to give it a try for lunch. All I will say is I ended up going back in the evening as well. The food is really good and most importantly something really different and much needed in Aptos. I was a bit unsure of the menu but the gusy at the counter were really helpful and gave loads of advice so it was really easy. I had a the platter with lamb at lunch and in the evening went for falafels. The portions were great and the fodo was fresh and tasted really good. I actually think they could charge more for the qualuty of food they are serving so all in all well worth checking out!
