Liver and onions, Escarole and Frisee w Fried Egg
The Kobe Beef Sloppy Joe was an interesting dinner item, but not as salty as the traditional. The combined slow cooked chopped tomatoes nestled between a nice bread roll w/ side of slaw and skinny fries were nice. I have to admit sloppy joe's are best when original. The Kobe beef was however tender and tried to be Sloppy. The winner that night was the Escarole Salad. The Fried Eggs, which was OVEREASY, which I LOVE, was the highlight. The liver and onions were medium rare and perfect. It came with old school basic mashed potatos which actually were nice in a world of exotic and sometimes overdone flavors. I have to give it the Presidio Social Club for having interesting twists yet keeping the flavors and food at a nice minimum. The space really is nice and unique. I look forward to seeing more Presidio offerings overall in the future.
