Johnny's Cafe, Margate City

Awesome...the food was spectacular,service outstanding...it wasn't cheep,but well worth it-everything made my taste buds dance in a good way and our server (Frank) was great-the porkchop he recomended to me (I asked if he was on a fence and the porkchop was on one side and steak was on the other where would he fall) was great-cooked perfectly-the peppers/glaze complimented it so well.My wife had fish-also great(mint mango sauce,sweet potato ) sadly,didnt have room for dessert-but the ones that went by during our meal looked great...we'll be back.

Tryed Johnny's about two years ago and love it Their food is always great. My husband and I and all our friends think its great. Definitly worth trying. Thank you for giving us another great place to enjoy at the beach..

Had dinner Thursday night 3/10/11 at the recommendation of a friend and had a very interesting evening. The food was great and the service very good. Our beet salad and veal shank could not have been better. What we did not relize right away was it is a gay bar.The attention of the bartender while appreciated at first soon became alluring looks and finally a proposition to join him in the bathroom. While two men having dinner without their wives should not be that unusally the fact this place is known as gay hangout was our mistake. The advances continued while we made a hasty exit to the point the bartender and a server fondled my buttocks as I went out the door. The door locked behind us and with several patrons (men) at the bar the lighs went out inside.Feeling very uncomfortable we crossed the street to wait for our cab. CRAZY night ?

Can any of you people spell? What's wrong, how is it there are people with $ to eat out, and they are illiterate?

I think Johny'd cafe is amzing!!! the service is fanominal, perfrect deserts, and a friendly enviourment to be in :) What an A++

If you want service, this place is not for you! I usually don't make a big fuss if I have a bad experience at a restaurant but this place is horrible. Johnnies cafe's prices are ridiculous for the quality of food they offer. To start off I ordered a soda and it was flat. I requested a new soda and had to argue with the waitress to convince her it was flat! Finally I got a new soda. The appetizers I ordered where cold so I had to send those back. Overall not a good experience. Very unprofessionally ran restaurant, I will never eat there again and will never suggest anyone to go there! Save yourself the frustration, an embarrassing organization for who ever runs the place.
