Fabulous! Typically casual dress in a beautiful, up-scale Mexican restaurant. High ceilings, colorful murals, modern open kitchen, and you can watch them make fresh corn tortillas that are delicious--not to be compared with what you find in supermarkets or most restaurants. The mole poblano is excellent. It's even drizzled over the chips brought to your table. The menu is not huge, but changes periodically. The chef is very creative, and really knows what he's doing. Incredible food! The fish dishes are excellent. Chicken with mole is generous and excellent. The enchiladas come with wonderful sauces.
I often ask the wait staff for their recommendations. They are professionals, and take great pride in what they offer. Attentive service without being intrusive. Reminds me of good European wait staff.
Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday noon features a very good Mariachi band, paid for by the establishment. They wander among the tables, and you get to see their musical mastery up close. I come especially to enjoy them. I've heard that they have romantic music on Monday and Tuesday nights.
I've also been told that they have a Sunday brunch buffet. I haven't tried it, yet, but am looking forward to experiencing that, to include the mariachi band.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the prices are quite reasonable for dinner, but since they are the same for lunch, that's on the high side.
