It was the first time I've eaten here at Koba and it was the single most unpleasant eating experience at a Korean restaurant. The waiter was unwelcoming and unfriendly.
Bad case of the 'Mundays'? Hardly. He took my order half way across the hall and I specifically told him that I wanted my tofu soup hot, as in spicy, not steamy by default. When it had arrived, it literally looked like a bowl of bubbling yogart. Oh boy, was I in for a treat. Despite the fact that I did not like what I saw, I was hungry. During the whole time did the waiter nor the manager paid any attention to come by at least ONCE to ask if I needed anything. The whole time they were watching Korean soap operas and listening to K-Pop. Nice~
By the time I had finished up, I reached for my water and that's when I had noticed that the waiter did not even serve me water. Isn't this like the first thing you serve? I was enraged at this point, but didn't want to donkey-punch the waiter in the mouth and burn the place down. I just paid and left with a nasty feeling in my stomach.
