Great service, nice environment, big portions. My husband and kids love this place. What more can I say about his place.

Some of the best food around. The Servings are more than you expect for the prices that you pay. Although, most days the service is very slow. I keep going back because I love that good ole home cooking.

OMG! Everyone told me how great this place was and they are so WRONG! The food was cold & tasteless. Not to mention the wait staff brings everything out on a wheeled cart! Even if it's one dish. It looks cute but the food is bad! I had dinner there first then breakfast a couple days later hoping maybe it was a bad dinner great breakfast place but it's just bad all around!

We enjoy going here and don't mind bringing our noisy child. Down home food, large portions.

Looking for a place to cure the post-weekend hangover? Or perhaps a restaurant with dishes so large and heavy that food servers bring the food out on large carts? Then look no further than Black Bear. I have yet to have a bad meal here, and the service is always friendly. I still can't help but worry about our collective arteries when servers cart out plate after plate of chicken-fried steaks, corned beef hash and chorizo scrambles, though.

I couldn't believe it, i've lived in the area about 2 years and finally decided to try this place. It was a great experiance! Great service, excellent food and crayons for my little one. I was surprised at the variety on the menu and I have to make it there for breakfast sometime. The portions are plentiful and enough to take home, the quality of the food is outstanding and the service was very prompt and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a large meal that tastes great. You definitely get your money's worth at this place and you will most likely have leftovers to take home. Prices are decent and like I said, you get your money's worth. I would choose this place over Applebees or Chilis any day of the week. Try it for yourself if you are ever in Hanford, it is worth it!
