2/2011 Food was cold, over cooked, american, nothing authentic, way overpriced, service was slow, food was brought at different times some 15 min. appart, manager was rude and unprofessional. I would have to say that is was one of the worst dinning experiences I have ever had with 4 other people totally dissatisfied.
Been here twice for lunch now, both times it was a busy place, although I was seated quickly enough. Service last time seemed prompt (which is good for a business lunch), but this time it was extremely rushed. I literally felt as though they were trying to turn over the booth as quickly as possible. Then again, the table directly next to me with the three women and the 4 week old baby got lots of extra attention from my server.
If you stick to basics -- gyros and fries -- you won't be disappointed. I won't even bother commenting on the variations of gyros -- BBQ, Cajun, and Buffalo -- that just seems a little wrong to me. I've also decided to sample some of the other greek specialty items off the appetizer list. I've had the hummos, spanakopita, tiropodes, and dolmathes. I wasn't impressed. Nor was I impressed with the appetizer sized portions I received for the money.
I've also had the grilled chicken pita which is essentially a gyro with chicken instead of lamb. It was also tasty. However, this is indicative of the menu -- 2 or 3 basic Greek dishes and many variations on that theme.
What more can you say about large portions at fair prices, plus it's soooo good!! And be sure to save room for dessert! The staff are friendly and helpful, they are good with families with little kids, and you can come as you are. Carry out service is wonderful too!
