Sunday, May 29, 2011 Being on my own right now, I am trying out restaurants. I tried out Wing Ming today, this is one of the most flavorful places I have had the pleasure of eating at. The egg flower soup was a delight even w/o the soy sauce. The finely diced water chestnuts in the soup were hot and crunchy, quite a coup. I always try the #1, which is pork chow mien, pork fried rice and often (as here) egg foo young. This was also very tasty, very flavorful, I will be returning to eat here to try other things. I do hope in the mean time, that the wait staff learns a few things: like to use a clean rag to clean off a table, mine was sticky even after the older lady came by to clean it off more; and to wait till someone asks for a take home box before bringing one. I felt like I was being thrown out with the box on my table when I was just over half done; there were about half the seats available, I was reading my book, there was no reason to be so pushy. One other thing, the sauce on the egg foo young was a bit much, next time I will order it on the side, but then that's just me. I do want to thank them for having a take out menu right on the check stand, I am very likely to use it in the future.
