Love it..just such a lovely atmosphere at lunch. Many visits and found the staff to be friendly, food is good quality...if I had any complaints it would be that the alcoholic drinks were a little pricey so I stick to just one. Will be back!
I ve tried on three different occasions to like ozona blue and just can t bring myself to do it. The food is ok but the service is really lousy. The prices are a little to high for what you get in the way of food and beverages. Did i mention how lousy the service is? Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Great place to eat and take out of state visitors. Margarita flat pizza is the best!!!!
I have been there many times with friends who ordered a variety of food...everyone raved about the food!!!
Highly recommend this place!
My mom and I decided to go here for dinner on a Sat night. The place was very crowded but we decided to wait as most restaurants around this area is normally packed on the weekends. We were told the wait would be about 40 mins. We waited over an hour and when we asked how much longer, we were told they were working on it. People with reservations came in and they also had to wait long. We finally were called to our table. We ordered the She Crab soup which is excellent. We told the waitress to come back as I wasn`t sure what I wanted to order for my main meal. She came back in probably less than 2 mins waiting at our table while we were trying to enjoy the soup. I ordered a salad and the appetizer mussels. I wasn`t even half finished with my soup and the salad came out. I told the waitress we didn`t want to be rushed and I hoped that the mussels didn`t come soon. She said, oh don`t worry, they won`t be out right away. Well, I took one bite of the salad and out comes my mussels. Another waiter had served us our food and when our waitress came by and asked if everything was OK, I told her I was not happy that everything was brought out together and that I thought about sending the salad back because I had to eat the mussels while they were hot. She then told me she would take the salad off the bill and she promptly took it off the table. Then she said that the kitchen staff does this sometimes and she doesn`t know why!! I told her we waited over and hour and sat at the table for maybe 20 mins, then we were asked if we wanted dessert!!! It was like they were trying to rush us out so that they could get a bigger party in. I don`t think I will ever go back and its a shame because it is a nice place with a nice atmosphere. This was just so unacceptable. So beware unless you like to eat fast and be rushed out of a restaurant. It definitely was not worth the hour or more wait!!!!!
I agree with Damien. my friend had crab and shrimp and returned it telling them she did not want the spoiled shrimp. She got the same plate back with the shrimp scraped off. how gross is that. I had grouper, salmom and sea bass. The grouper was so off that I almost threw up when I put a piece in my mouth.
Ozona Blue is a great restaurant with a great atmosphere..it sounds like that guy Damien nit picks on everything and couldnt be happy anywhere..I strongly suggest Ozona Blue..as I have to several people..with zero complaints
Pretty much a standard bar and grille trying pass itself off as an upscale restaurant. The first thing I noticed was that the menus were delaminated and sticky. We were seated right next to the only door that provided access for all the wait staff and customers to gain access to the outside eating area and bar even though I called in for a reservation and asked for one of their best tables. The door piston was malfunctioned and slammed every second on top of it being so loud that I couldn't even hear my wife who was sitting 2 feet from me. There was no effort to control the acoustic properties of the hardwood floors and beveled ceilings. I had to ask for bread from a girl who said she is just the hostess who must have asked us 20 questions to try to figure out who our waitress was instead of just getting the bread which would have taken a fraction of the time of her questions trying to figure out who our waitress was. My wife ordered a sangria that was so strong that it could have knocked down an elephant. My appetizer plate was dirty with stuck on food from the last patron and had to ask for clean one. We finally asked to be moved to a different table because the slamming of the door was over the top for anyone to deal with. After being moved outside and hoping for a different experience the sword fish that I ordered that was on special came out cold as a cucumber and had a weird slimy texture with a slight fishy taste. The house salad that came with the meal was soggy with signs of brown edges and was limp in my mouth. A lady who may have been the manager who never presented herself as such came out with my new plate of swordfish and offered to comp the meal. By this time I just wanted to leave, but my wife insisted to try to make the best of it. I ate half of the second attempt at my order and just gave up and threw my fork down in disgust. If you are looking for a romantic night out with your significant other I would steer clear of this place. If you want to pick up a local one night stand than this place might be for you.
I am sitting here at my computer looking for a new place to eat locally. After reading the reviews I would strongly suggest that the owner and management of this restaurant get some control over all of this. I read every review good and bad and the over all impression I get is you take your chances. Not good for business. I know firsthand how hard it is to be a server but some of these responses from them are just juvenile and customers do tend to pile into a restaurant at the busiest times and expect all to be perfect, that won't happen. I think management should do some damage control.
