Ate twice here this week. 1 sit down and another take out. Both times the food was EXECELLENT!! You get your monies worth and then some. Best omelet I ve had ever...not kidding...EVER. I had to call them and tell them just that. Service was great as well. If you go try the meat lovers omlet and the pineapple cocunut pancake (they mix it in the batter)!!!

I have been going to EWCK since it opened. It's a great breakfast joint with hot, good, reasonably priced food. The wait, if there is one, goes quickly. There breakfast is well worth waiting for!! This is a review for the food, not whether you liked your boss or co-workers. And yes I have worked with one of them and never had a problem...

Great Food, Prices and Service! Menu is small, but creative. Worth the wait.

The Country Kitchen is absolutely outstanding! I always crave their delicious apple cinnamon French toast with whipped cream. Also, their home fries are absolutely out of this world! I highly recommend it, delicious.

I go into the east windsor country kitchen alot to eat. They have great food and give wonderfull service.. most of the time. The owners are great the weekend staff is awesome. .. BUT .... i dont enjoy going through the week anymore because of a certain server they have there. I try to go only when she is not on as i do not like her attitude and the last time i was there it was so busy she seemed lost and wanted to argue with me about what i wanted to eat. However the other two girls that work there are wonderfull. The day that it was so busy the short one with the bad attitude walked off the other girl who is tall with dark hair came over and smoothed it all out read me the specials and helped me perfect my omelet the way i wanted. As i said i now will only go in there if the tall girl with dark hair and the blonde are there. If you happen to go in there and you see a short lady with reddish hair STAY AWAY dont let her take your order ask for either the blonde or the taller one. But all in all the food is still awesome I am giving 4 stars because of the server i dont like

The food is good. Prices aren't bad. Waitresses are nice. Always packed but it's worth it. But the cooks are asses. Staying as a customer is best. Recommend for eating there, not for working there.

East Windsor Country Kitchen has the best breakfast around and great lunch too! The french toast is amazing with the perfect blend of sweetness added to it. I drive there every Sunday from Wallingford just to get breakfast there and I have gone there on my lunch from my job in Newington as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a clean restaurant with great food and friendly service. The only complaint I have is they need to expand to fit the abundance of customers pouring into this place on Saturday and Sunday! Bruce, the owner is so friendly and is always checking on the guests to make sure they are enjoying their breakfast. There are not too many restaurants today that have the owner cooking in the kitchen and greeting guests! I love this place! : ) It's like home for me!

I have been eating at East Windsor Country Kitchen shortly after they opened in July 2006. I have found their prices competitive, if not better than most breakfast lunch places. The food is excellant and my only complaint is that I frequently have to get the leftovers wrapped up to go... Oh well I get a treat the next day. Being around restaurant people for a good part of my 60+ years, I find that restaurant people can be funny... wrapped up in making sure everything is perfect for their clientele. 95% of the time these people are upbeat and friendly. Both guys behind the grill have been out on the floor (time permitting) to check on the customers .... If you caught them on a bad day, well I would like to meet a person who has never had an off day. I can't say I have seen the attention these people show their customers in too many other places. That is one of the reasons I keep going back! It's one of the cleanest restruants I have ever eaten in. It looks the same - restorations aside - from the day it opened almost 4 years ago. Cuddos to them for taking such pride in their work environment. On many occasions while waiting to be seated I have been told by exiting customers that 'It is worth the wait!' And I concur! If someone is in too much of a hurry - which is sadly the case in todays society -there is always the local fast food drive thru.
