Pig'n Pancake, Lincoln City

I have to start by saying that my family and I have been going to this Pig N Pancake for years...The food is good but not good enough for me to be okay with the rude service we received!!! My Mother, Father, Sister, Husband, Our 8 month old son and myself went to this establishment this past weekend..after a morning of shopping and beach fun. Everything started off fine. We enjoyed sitting there sipping on our coffee and just having a nice breakfast/Lunch. Our 8 month old was also enjoying himself and a couple times he squealed because he was in such a good mood. Of course as a mother, I tended to him so that his sequels of happiness wouldn t offend or disrupt others in the restaurant, but how can you keep a 8 month old from being happy and enjoying himself. We were just about done with our meal when the manager Cathy came over to me Are you almost done? I have received complaints about your son (keep in mind he was not crying or yelling but he did have the occasional sequel of happiness) At that point they did everything they could to get us out of there. I have never been so embarrassed. Here we are enjoying our weekend and this manager(at a family restaurant) couldn t hold back her comment for 5 more minutes. As we left the restaurant 2 local couples approached us and said that they were sorry for how we were treated and that our son wasn t bothering them and they couldn t understand why she would have said that. So.... for the fact that I have a small child and they are not as FAMILY FRIENDLY as they say they are. I will never return to that establishment again!!!!

Very nice Family restaurant. Their Omelets are awesome! Good place for breakfast!
