North Port Applebees is not up to par with other Applebees. I ate there 3 times, but will go to Port Charlotte of Venice from now on. All 3 times, the service was slow, and they messed up my order.

Food was ok, never been a big applebee person. Out of these style restaurants I rank 1)Chillis, 2)Bennigans, 3)Ruby tuesday, 4)TGIF then 5)applebees!

I went with my son for coffee and a brownie sundae the other night after bible study. The service was friendly and the place was very nicely decorated for Halloween. It was a nice homelike environment for us. The staff seemed to get along with each other in a friendly manner.

Better than average service

Applebee's service tends to be hit or miss but every time we have been to the North Port one we have had excellent service and food. Even a week or two after it opened the operations were very smooth.
