This place is definitely a real mexican restaurant, however it was so mexican that our waitress couldn't speak english. This was no biggie at first, and I'm sure she wasn't meaning to be rude but she only spoke about 4 words the entire meal because she couldnt understand what we were saying. They got the type of dip we ordered wrong twice, we requested chorizo dip and had cheeze dip brought out twice even after pointing to what we wanted on the menu. We couldnt get her attention because she never introduced herself so she spent the remainder of the meal facing away from our table so in our 45 minute stay we had no drink refills. When we got our food my friends was to hot to eat and mine was cold in the middle..what really topped it off is when I asked for the check and she gave me a blank stare, so I asked for the bill, it was then she had to go get someone to translate, I can understand not knowing the elaborates of english but not even knowing one of the most common phrases in a restaurant? thats a bit to much.
Surprisingly good. I hope this place sticks around. Better than Los Amigos in my opinion and certainly more authentic. We've only had the veggie and seafood dishes, so I can't pass judgment on the meat.
