Park at Mall of America
The mega mall's largest entertainment attraction is also the biggest indoor theme park in the United States. This seven-acre complex, formerly Camp Snoopy, is loaded with more than two-dozen rides, arcade and carnival games, appealing to kids of all ages. Thrills can be had on the Ripsaw Roller Coaster, Log Chute or the Mighty Axe. A one-of-a-kind spinning roller coaster, the Timberland Twister, is the newest thrill ride. Tamer rides include the Screaming Yellow Eagle and a sky-scraping Ferris wheel. For the younger kids, there is a kiddie roller coaster, carousel, mini trucks and a train ride.
I live in MN so I get to go often. I never got tired of it. All the rides are awesome, and they even have a thrill rating. If you have to eat lunch or a snack in the middle, then there's the whole mall and the Lego exhibition to keep you entertained for an hour. Even adults can enjoy rides like the Mighty Ax and The Screaming Yellow Eagle. Or if they want a calmer but still "thrilly" ride, the Pepsi Ripsaw is there, a larger (much larger!) version of The Lil' Shaver but less danger and thrill than the Tumberland Twister.
The Mall is good too, w/ Macy's, Nordstrom, and my fav. stores: The Afternoon, The Lindt Shop.
The park was exciting visually and led the eyes upward with things to see far more interesting than clouds in an outdoor park.
In the dead of winter you feel like you are on vacation like at Wisconsin Dells, Disney World, etc. Any child's heart will surely go leaping with anticipation of fun galore.
The only think I didn't like was the name of the park. It doesn't create any previsit curiosity or joy in anticipation of fun.
I have a special sounding name to submit that will appeal to children and adults. Even the acompanying logo will attract more visitors since it is familiar and evokes excitement. Please let me know if you are interested. I am POSITIVE you will be very impressed. I taught school for many years and know what appeals to youngsters of all ages.
Among other attractions at the Mall of America, Knott's Camp Snoopy, is the most fun you will have in a long time. Food is not hard to find at the indoor theme park: cotton candy, caramel apples, and those delicious peanut brittle slabs, are heaven for the people with a big sweet tooth. When it comes to rides at Camp Snoopy, I recommend the Mystery Mind Ride, the Log Chute, the miniature golf, and Paul Bunyan's Axe. Have fun at the mall and Knott's Camp Snoopy!
