Depot Skating Rink, Minneapolis

It has a wonderful rink, very clean, and of course fun!!!! The lights there make you feel like you're at a night culb!(kid-friendly) When I went there they even let us annouce a "Happy Birthday" on the rink speakerphone! (everyone could hear it!) The only bad thing is that sometimes it can get quite crowded so stay away from Friday and Saturday nights. Other than that it's great!

Charming skating arena, nice refreshments available, great ambiance. Very inexpensive considering how enjoyable it is! We had a great time and look forward to going back. Sakte up an appetite and then head over to Old Spaghetti Factory for a meal. Good times!

great place for family or group get togethers , close to all attractions downtown huge open atrmosphere will not dissappoint. hope to go back on a yearly basis.

Having an indoor ice skating rink available to a dating couple is wonderful. Whether or not you use it as an excuse to "fall down" and take your date with you or grab on to him/her for support, it is the place to be when it's too cold to be outside. The atmosphere is kept at the most decent temperature you can be at while still keeping the ice cold. I loved the rink because I did use it to get close to my date. The price was right, and the skates were in great shape. I don't have any ice skates of my own so that was a wonderful thing to provide. When you get hungry, the snack bar always has something to enjoy, warm or cold. Music sets the scene and off you go, so grab a date, or just go out to have fun, and enjoy the Depot skating rink. It wasn't hard to find, and parking wasn't bad either for downtown Minneapolis.

I really liked this place, although I have never gone ice skating before. I have been there 2 or 3 times and everytime I have been there it has been packed. The place is cool, it is inside an old train station and the zamboni is painted like a train. and the hotel connected is very nice.

I just loved the atmosphere of the depot. It was just cool to see such a neat old building that has been put to such great use.
