Wild Mountain Ski Area, Taylors Falls

Considered one of the premier ski areas in Minnesota, Wild Mountain's motto is: More Skiing, Less Waiting. With 23 runs of varying difficulty and four quad lifts, Wild Mountain lives up to its promise. One hour northeast of the Twin Cities, the slopes provide adequate challenge for beginners to advanced skiers. Night skiing draws big crowds, especially on Fridays when the slopes are lit until 3am. Snowboarding is allowed; however, there isn't a separate area for this activity. Equipment rental and lessons are available. Evening and multi-day discounts are offered.
