Hot dogs and beer, what a combo! This St. Paul landmark has been serving them up for the better part of 50 years. Not somewhere that you have to dress for, but the dogs are always ready around 10:30am. Although the place isn't much on atmosphere, if you like Coneys, it is worth a quick stop. If business is slow, the Gopher has been known to close early, so if you have a late night urge, call ahead to be sure they are still open.
